Setting a Proper Course

Many of us struggle in our journey to be like Christ because we’re just chasing the next moment or the next thing. Our destination isn’t defined, so we’re content to bicker and argue over unimportant matters because we have the wrong perspective. Wisdom is learning from history to not repeat the same mistakes as those who’ve gone before us. Our destination isn’t to be set a place (Heaven), or even a person (Jesus) — it’s to be set to a principle: the glory of God. When we set the proper destination, we get the rest along the way.
